Your Rights are Important
We believe in treating our patients with respect and dignity at CMWC. They maintain the right to receive information about CMWC, our providers, our clinicians, and our services. Any and all questions concerning their health care must be answered and if a patient is ill, they have the right to receive care regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.
Privacy is a right to all our patients and CMWC keeps medical records private in accordance with State and Federal laws. Patients also have the right to see their medical records, ask for corrections and receive a copy of it within State and Federal requirements.


Patients have the right to ask for a second opinion about their health condition. Interpretation services are available at no cost to help them talk to their provider if English is not the preferred language. Patients also have the right to receive information about CMWC, their providers, and their health in their preferred language. Materials can also be requested in other formats such as Braille. Minor consent services is a right to all patients. Patients have the freedom to exercise these rights without negatively affecting how they are treated by CMWC and our providers. Patients also have the right to make recommendations regarding the organization’s patient rights and responsibilities policies.
